Founded in 2015 by Wilmer Moya, a victim and survivor of a gun shot to the head, The Wilmer Project is an organization committed to helping disabled persons become productive contributors to society. Our goal is to help participants obtain the tools, therapies and training necessary for them to acquire the knowledge/skills to become independent employed members of their communities and the world.
We believe the people with disabilities can achieve their dreams of having a successful career, having independence and being accepted just like anyone else with the proper vocational training, support and motivation.
Our goal is to help young handicap persons and veterans in receiving the needed therapies to improve physical health and be self sufficient.
We want to help young disabled persons get prosthetics and equipment needed to function properly and be able to do for themselves.
We want to get work training and skill development for young handicap persons and veterans so that they can find jobs and make a living.
Offer help and assistance to handicap persons and veterans registering and getting started with college or universities to get their degree or certification.
